What can I say? I thought I was out of the whole muse game, or at least, out of it enough that it wasn't going to hold the appeal that it has for the past couple of years. ...and then I picked up a Bones muse. Goddamnit Bones. Why do you rule my life?

Actually I've been having a lot of fun working on a whole Bones/Spock RP verse. It's like writing fanfic, but with someone else. Kind of fun. ^_^

There are moments when I really really really wish I knew how to make fanvids.

so damn addicting.

Today I was attacked.. by fish.

I am so not joking. One jumped out of the tank and hit my face. I screamed and flailed and got laughed at by my co-workers.

The other bit my finger, but he's an Oscar, so that's pretty much par for the course.

I was also driven into a giggle fit when my co-worker got hit on by a girl from Hooters. She gave him a card for a discount too, and he gave it to me. Being hugely gay, he has no interest in Hooters at all. Oh well, his loss, my gain. ^^

But school, even this first week back, seems to be kicking my ass. D:

Also, I really don't like this layout style, I think I will change it soon, which probably means some icon hunting. I have no objections to that, maybe I'll go for an all Bones theme.

OMG I realize I have fics to finish but I look at my schedule and it's all like 'hell no' and i'm like 'but! come on!"

I have a vacation coming up in AUGUST!!! I'm crazy excited about this, gonna stop and visit with my brother for a couple of days and then do nothing but catch up on fic and star trek TOS.

God, I really need to take vacations more often.

Just a simple touch to the wrist.

It comes as a surprise. Aren’t they enemies? Or at least, rivals for some right to influence their mutual best friend?

That notion is shattered by the soft press of two fingertips to vulnerable skin. It’s not the thoughts that pass through either mind, not the words that escape tightly controlled mouths.

It is just one moment.

Before they were a clash of personality and ideals, now they are something different. The mix of hot and cold that create a storm. Intertwined.

The hands fall apart once more. Everything goes back to what it was.

At least, the appearance of it is so.

I think the answer to that is Hell Yes.


Just to give you a few examples. My bearded Dragons take turns picking on each other, usually the male (King Joey) wins and gets his way by walking over the female's (Spork) head. However once while he was stuck after kicking her out of 'her' rock house, she took the opportunity to leave poo on his tail.

I've been trying to get a young Conure to get used to me, the little punk thinks it's funny to 'mistake' my fingers for treats, when I call him on it, he bobs his head and makes happy noises. Of course, my fingers still need band-aids anyway.

I've also had to chase a Chinchilla around in circles because he find it amusing to pretend to stop just so I reach for him and then takes off just a few more inches out of my reach.

If I thought about it longer I could probably come up with a handful of more examples. XD
